Too many Saline County families are being taxed out of homes they already own. Valuations climb because a neighbor sold, even though you never saw a dime of that gain. Meanwhile, roads and buildings we already paid for wear down, and new business and industry look at Saline County and settle in Dickinson or McPherson instead.


If nothing changes, the path is clear: a crumbling infrastructure, a shrinking tax base, and a county our kids and grandkids can't afford to call home.

I've spent my whole adult life helping people and managing money. I earned a business degree from K-State and built a career as a real estate broker. Today I still manage residential property and keep the books for a local LLC. I married into a farming family and have been part of several family-owned local businesses.


I know overhead, spreadsheets and running on a tight budget. Sometimes you go without. Sometimes you cut back. You never spend money you don't have.

My husband and I have three grandchildren growing up right here. I have real skin in the game.

A fresh set of eyes for Saline County

I said yes because I see Saline County residents being taxed out of their homes. I've watched policies passed that harm the very people they were supposed to help. I saw decisions during COVID compound our problems for businesses, for families, and especially for our children. When that happened, I didn't wait for someone else to fix it. After COVID shut down the Backyard Bible Club after-school program a friend and I founded as a 501(c)(3) in five Salina elementary schools, I opened a free classroom so students had a safe, supportive place to learn.


That's how I approach every problem: listen to everyone, find the practical solution that works, and when a mistake is made, correct it without compounding it. Honesty, transparency and accountability are the bedrock of my words and deeds.


Saline County's future depends on the path we choose now. I want our children and grandchildren not only to want to call Saline County home forever, but to be able to afford it, with good jobs, safe neighborhoods, well-kept roads and a thriving community. That's the county I'm running for. I'd be honored to have your vote.

Saline County isn't just Salina; our vibrant agricultural community is the backbone of our entire local economy. 

Helping run a working farm has taught me the reality of rising costs, unpredictable markets, and the absolute necessity of a balanced budget. Out here, if you don't solve a problem efficiently the first time, it costs you your livelihood.


I will bring a results-driven, no-nonsense accountability to the County Commission table. I understand the unique challenges facing our rural roads, bridges, and agricultural families because I live them every day.
